Welcome…:)
Workshop dates : 22nd-25th June 2019
This is an invitation to join me for a nourishing Chi Kung workshop that is designed to give you easy to learn techniques that increase the health of your energy reservoirs, with specific support for strengthening lower back and gut health. This will be experienced through practicing simple Chi Kung forms & meditations.
NOTE: I am offering a 20% early bird discount until 7th June 2019, if you wish to book & pay in full by then. Please see the end of this page for workshop fees and payment details.
This Workshop is open to all – no previous experience required, it is about learning techniques you can do at home to stay healthy.
It is very helpful to both individuals and practitioners who wish to gain a greater awareness of meridians and energy reservoirs in the body, and to learn supportive exercises for both self and clients.
It will be held at a fantastic location overlooking the waters of Lake Cootharaba at Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast, surrounded by a forest of paperbark trees.
It is best to spend the 4 days deepening into the resourcing space created to fully reconnect to the chi in and around you. However if you are only able to make 3 days that is possible, please contact Denise to discuss.

What is Chi Kung???
Chi Kung is the skilful practice of gathering, circulating, and harmonising one’s life-force energy.
Chi Kung is about feeling the moment as it is, and the power of tuning into your body awareness. By slowing down movement and mind, you will start to perceive subtle meridian flows, and deep reservoirs of energy in the body.
There is a natural self-balancing that happens without thought or action, when you are moved from a place of stillness into the motion of your life force. This happens when you allow yourself to be unfettered by a busy mind, and come back into awareness of the entirety of the moment as it is.
Taking the time meet yourself in this way, reconnects you to the abundance of being in tune with, and part of, nature.
What is This Workshop About???
This workshop is focused on The Water Element from the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Five Elements.
The Water Element is associated with pelvic energy: ‘Jing’. The Chi Kung moves help free up and nourish energy in this region, supporting strength, and health in the lower back & abdominal organs.
We will also cover Chi Kung forms that support the flow of the Water Element meridians, and their associated organs : the Bladder and Kidney.
Freeing the flow in these meridians supports whole spine fluidity, and greatly improves adrenal energy levels when practiced regularly.
The Animal associated with the Water Element is the Bear, is we will use fun imagery in the Chi Kung moves to embody the attributes of the bear – power, strength, courage & vitality 🙂
A great workshop to learn easy ways to boost energy levels and feel again the free flow in your body and mind..
At the end of the workshop we will put together a video of the moves, so you can continue resourcing yourself at home.
Note: There are a series of 10 standalone workshops covering the 5 elements, dragon chi kung, & internal alchemy. Completion of all ten workshops and associated homestudy lead to the qualification of Elemental Chi Kung Teaching Certification. Or each workshop can be enjoyed standalone. see past event details, or go to www.naturalmovment.info for overview of the workshops.
