This is an invitation to join me for a nourishing Chi Kung workshop that is designed to give you easy to learn techniques, that increase the health of your energy reservoirs. This will be experienced through practicing simple Chi Kung forms that help harmonise the meridian flows in your body.

This Workshop is open to all – no previous experience required, it is about learning techniques you can do at home to stay healthy.
It is very helpful to both individuals and practitioners who wish to gain a greater awareness of the body’s meridians, and learn supportive exercises for both self and clients.
This amazing workshop is held up in the rainforests of Mt Glorious, a cocoon of calm mountain and forest energy on the outskirts of Brisbane.
You will gain the maximum benefit if you are able to attend all 4 days, as the Chi Kung forms and sequences build up day by day in this workshop. If you have trouble attending all 4 days please contact me so we can work out an option for you.

Denise Hooker is an experienced Elemental Chi Kung teacher, offering Chi Kung workshops, and private daily and hourly tuition, in both Australia, and India.
Denise also teaches Craniosacral Therapy in Australia, Singapore, Kuala Lumpar, & India.

Denise has been a Biodynamic Craniosacral practitioner for both people and horses since 2006.
What is Chi Kung???
Chi Kung is the skilful practice of gathering, circulating, and harmonising one’s life-force energy.
Chi Kung is about feeling the moment as it is, and the power of tuning into your body awareness. By slowing down movement and mind, you will start to perceive subtle meridian flows, and deep reservoirs of energy in the body.
There is a natural self-balancing that happens without thought or action, when you are moved from a place of stillness into the motion of your life force. This happens when you allow yourself to be unfettered by a busy mind, and come back into awareness of the entirety of the moment as it is.
Taking the time meet yourself in this way, reconnects you to the abundance of being in tune with, and part of, nature.
What is This Workshop About???
What Are the 5 Elements ???
The 5 Elements are Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal:
The Water Element is associated with pelvic energy: ‘Jing’. The Chi Kung moves help free up and nourish energy in this region, supporting strength, and health in the lower back and abdomen. Water Element work is very good for improving adrenal energy.
The Wood Element has the qualities of the Tree in nature, so when the Element is balanced in ourselves, we are able to grow, rejuvenate, and heal more quickly, and with more vigour! This Element supports the liver and therefore some of the many benefits will be the increased health of our eyes, ligaments, tendons, muscles and joints. Mentally and emotionally we will have more patience, and find good humour, ease & flexibility in ourselves.
The Fire Element is associated with feelings of joy, laughter and enthusiasm. Regular practice of the Fire Element Chi Kung forms will support easier breathing and better circulation. As the Fire Element opens up the Middle Dantian (the heart), an inner warmth arises from the practice.
When the Earth Element within us is healthy, we support all the body systems, through our increased ability to digest and absorb foods and nutrients. The overall effect of this Earth alchemy is an elevated state of clarity & stillness in both mind and body. When our Earth Element is balanced, we feel calm and mellow.
The Metal Element Chi Kung moves strengthen and support our Wei Chi (auric field). When our Wei Chi is strong, our body and mind feel clear and able, and much less vulnerable to external toxins, and negative energy that can lead to dis-ease.
The standing and walking Chi Kung forms in this workshop are designed to support deep stillness, and are very powerful in promoting health in the mind and body.
We will be exploring how to access deeper health through Chi Kung forms, walks, and meditations that balance our Meridians, Dantians, and our Elemental relationships to nature.

The location is amazing, on top of a mountain, right next to rainforest walks, and weather permitting we can do some outdoor chi kung in the beautiful grounds.
